Lost your bike? It may not have been stolen, but removed by the municipality. Bikes that are parked incorrectly can be removed after as little as 15 minutes. Find out how to check this and where to collect your bike.
Where can I collect my bicycle?
Bicycle depot Ossenmarkt
Your bicycle was parked:
- In the city centre (red aerea on the map) and
- not in a compartment, rack or storage facility.
Gehighlighte tekst: Collect your bicycle within 24 hours free of charge at the bicycle depot at Ossenmarkt. After that, your bicycle will be transferred to the bicycle depot Ulgersmaweg.

Your bicycle was:
- Blocking the way in a dangerous manner.
- Outside the city centre.
- Parked in the same spot for more than 28 days (12 days at stations and city centre).
Gehighlighte tekst: Collect your bicycle within 4 weeks from the bicycle depot Ulgersmaweg. The fee is € 25.

Collect your bicycle free of charge within 24 hours
The Ossenmarkt(externe link) is about a 10-minute walk away.
Belangrijke tekst: You can collect your bicycle at any time, except when your bicycle has been secured with a temporary cable lock. In that case, you can only collect it during opening hours:

- If your bicycle is listed there? Collect it within 4 weeks for €25.
- If your bicycle is not listed? Report it to the police(externe link).

- A valid passport, ID card or driving licence.
- The key to your bicycle lock.
- Your debit card (card payment only).

- Is your lock broken? You can buy a new lock for €25.
- We keep your bicycle for a maximum of 4 weeks. After that, the bicycle becomes the property of the municipality.
