Bicycle parking
Many people use bicycles in Groningen. To keep the city attractive and safe for everyone, there are rules for parking your bicycle.
Rules
| Area | Rules |
|---|---|
| Center and stations (red area) | Park only in a bicycle bay, rack or parking facility, and for a maximum of 12 days. |
| Around center (pink striped area) | Park for a maximum of 28 days. |
Do not block the footpath. And do not attach your bike to a tree, bridge, railing, bench or lamppost.
