Park your car at one of our seven P+R ('park and ride') sites. Travel on the comfortable Citybus from the P+R straight to the heart of the city and back again.
How the P+R Citybus system works
- As you approach the city, follow the signs to the nearest P+R Citybus site.
- A frequent Citybus service operates between the P+R site and the city centre - on Sunday shopping days as well! (exept P+R Peizerweg and Hoogkerk)
- Parking is free! A return trip on the Citybus for you and your travel compagnions costs just € 3,- (max. 5 persons). Parking time is virtually unlimited. The P+R site in Zaanstraat is the only one that charges a parking fee.
- The Citybus travels in bus lanes for most of the journey, so it's faster than using your own car. What's more, Citybus stops are closer to the shops than the city centre car parks (marked 'P').
