City of Talent is a strategic partnership in which the municipality of Groningen, the University of Groningen, the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG), the Hanze University Groningen and the province of Groningen have joined forces.
They are investing half a billion euros in innovation and knowledge infrastructure in the city over the coming years. A considerable share of the amount will be spent on innovation in the fields of energy, ICT, life sciences and nanotechnology.
They have started a campaign, which must bring Groningen as City of Talent to the attention of the rest of the world.
